Vogler writes Home Before Dark, giving readers hope and encouragement
through the telling of her life journey and life-lessons learned in this
revealing testimony of God’s sovereignty and grace upon her life. Her quote,
“Memories are like threads in the tapestry of life. Some are dark, others vibrant, but without
the contrast, very drab indeed!” Sharing her memories, and life journey, help
others understand from this book that life is only a journey, one that needs
God. She advises only to know the One True God, the One that can help you with
everything in your life and offer you true peace and happiness.
Additionally,
she encourages all to look to the future, make their eternity sure in Christ
and despite grief and some dark days in life, she presents to readers an
inspiring, tender read filled with memories of growing up in the 30’s and 40’s
in Iowa. This is her gift and legacy to others – delving as far back as 1945 –
Oh, how times have changed! But this book is still such a treat.

was inherited from her father. She and her sister grew up listening to her
father’s writings to their mother. With openness and humor, Vogler shares in
her book the memories that shaped her life. With incredible testimony, this book will help readers look at their past with fondness, helping them to remember the good – and also God – in all they do. Offering wisdom from her
own circumstances, whether good or bad, the author states that she hopes that
her book will encourage others to “take to heart” her life-lessons and learn to
move forward in their lives.

who can make a difference in every area of your life and truly bring you all of
